The compressor is equipped with a frequency inverter and direct drive, making it up to 45% more energy efficient than standard screw compressors. Thanks to the frequency inverter, the compressor produces exactly as much air as is consumed, has smooth start-up, no “PEAK” current surges in the power network, maintains constant working pressure, and does not require as large a tank as regular screw compressors.
